Laphroaig 15 Year Old

Although Laphroaig is famed for its intense smoky flavours, personified by the 10 Year Old expression, this 15 Year Old is where the range starts to mellow. The more robust medicinal flavours make way for an altogether softer, subtler peat smoke, with classic brine and vanilla on the nose. On the palate, creamy richness brings toffee and citrus, offering a rounder, fuller experience than the 10 Year Old. Aged in American oak bourbon barrels and bottled at 46% without chill-filtration, this much-missed expression returns as a permanent part of the range after more than a decade away. One of our absolute favourites, this is probably Laphroaig at its best. Read more
